PostHeaderIcon Future Determined By Road Trip

The Atlanta Thrashers are getting ready to go on what could most likely be the biggest road trip of the season.

With the logjam in the Eastern Conference the Atlanta Thrashers are taking off for a swing into Colorado to battle the dark horse of the Western Conference then on up to Minnesota before stopping off to visit ex-Thrasher Marian Hossa and the Western Conference powerhouse Chicago Blackhawks.

PostHeaderIcon Thrasher Talk in Da House

Hello there folks…I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Jeff and I’ll be the new in house Atlanta Thrashers blogger. I’ve been a fan of the Thrashers since the first year and am a 3 year season ticket holder. I also write a local blog on the Thrashers called FanThrashtic along with being a contributor at Crash The Crease. I am in my late 30’s and I’ve been a hockey fan since I was 8 years old watching the Americans defeat the Russians at Lake Placid.

PostHeaderIcon For Thrashers Next Month Is Important

The Thrashers opened this season with a rather unexpected jump and quickly rose to 5th place in the Eastern Conference by the end of November. As the fall gave way to the colder weather of winter the Thrashers cooled down as well and finished the month of December on a 7 game losing streak and a record for the month of 4-10-2. The Thrashers explosive start fizzled by the end of the month and they were clinging to playoff relevance at 10th place in the Eastern Conference.
